Launched on 19 February 1760, BELLONA was sent to support the blockade of Brest. On 30 December 1780, BELLONA took part in the capture of the 44-gun Dutch Princess Caroline; she then operated off Gibraltar in the North Sea and the West Indies. She took part in the blockade of Cadiz; she was then in Jamaica, Portsmouth and Barbados. Although more than 50 years.
